My Computer

I have a laptop computer that I use for school and for fun. My parents gave it to me last year for my birthday.

I use it mainly for homework. I type my essays and projects on it. My typing has got much faster since I got it. I can now type without looking at the keyboard.

I also use it to research things for school. When I need to find information about a topic, I can find it in seconds on the internet. My teachers say we must check that the information is from a reliable source.

For fun, I sometimes watch videos about animals and science. I also play educational games and read news articles.

My parents have set rules about screen time. I am allowed one hour of recreational use on school days and two hours at weekends. I think that is fair.

The most important thing my dad taught me about computers is to be careful about what information you share online.
